DKI Collaborates With TNI/Police Mobile To Supervise Offices To Work From Home 100 Percent

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government, in collaboration with the TNI/Police, will patrol the offices in DKI Jakarta regarding the obligation to work from home 100 percent. This policy is included in the Emergency Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) scheme.

"Of course, every office has a task force, ensuring that the implementation of non-essential work at home and we will also be assisted by the Metro Jaya Police by the Regional Military Command Jaya and other ranks to continue to monitor, supervise and even take action for any offices or business units. anywhere, anytime that violates the regulations of this emergency PPKM. We will take action and impose strict and severe sanctions", said Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria to reporters, Thursday, July 1.

Ariza said this supervision was carried out thoroughly. The number of supervisory personnel will be adjusted to the needs in the field.

The Java-Bali emergency PPKM will be implemented on July 3-20. There are several regulations related to emergency PPKM, including for offices.

"We make sure that the ranks of the provincial government from the provincial to the sub-district level will do best. The most important thing is to stay at home because home is the best place and implement health protocols", he continued.

Previously, the government through the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, finally officially announced the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) on July 3-20.

"We hope that within that time we can reduce (daily cases of COVID-19) below 10,000 or around 10,000 per day", he said in a virtual press conference, Thursday, July 1.

Luhut added that the implementation of PPKM this time was urgent. He asked the regional heads to carry out various directives set by the government. In fact, the state has prepared sanctions for regional leaders if they do not obey these rules.

"In the event that the governor, regent and mayor do not implement the provisions of the Emergency PPKM, they will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of written warnings twice in a row up to a temporary dismissal as stipulated", he said.

As for the detailed arrangements, Luhut continued, they will be issued through the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs.
