Sad News, Edy Oglek, Who Played As Kadrun In Tukang Bubur Naik Haji, Dies
JAKARTA - Comedian Edy Suwandi or known as Edy Oglek has died due to exposure to COVID-19. Edi is famous for his role as Kardun in the soap opera "Tukang Bubur Naik Haji".
The news was conveyed by Evry Joe, Head of Public Relations of the Indonesian Film Artists Association (Parfi) in a statement submitted to the media, Monday, June 28.
"I, Evry Joe, the Head of Public Relations of Parfi (Indonesian Film Artists Association) express my deepest condolences, the passing of our brother, Edy Oglek, a Betawi cultural artist whom we have been familiar with for his works and we feel very much lost to the person who has been this is close to Betawi culture," Evry wrote in his short message.
Furthermore, Evry prayed for the late Edy Oglek. "And what is certain is that we express our deepest condolences for Belau's death. Goodbye, Edy, may your works become a charity field. Then they will become lessons for young Indonesian filmmakers," said Evry
