Getting Scarier, As Many As 20 Babies In Bangka Exposed To COVID-19
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, noted that as many as 20 babies in the area were confirmed to be COVID-19 and were already undergoing health treatment.
A spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force for Bangka Regency, Boy Yandra said, since the emergence of the spread of COVID-19 in Bangka for more than a year, there have been 20 babies exposed to COVID-19.
"Babies who are exposed to COVID-19 because of close contact with COVID-19 patients or with their parents," he said as quoted by Antara, Monday, June 28.
Those exposed to COVID-19, he said, received intensive health services from the medical team at the hospital designated to treat COVID-19 patients.

He said, in addition to dozens of babies exposed to COVID-19, there were 189 toddlers or children aged one to four years exposed to the corona virus.
"I remind that if there are patients exposed to COVID-19, especially parents who have babies and toddlers, they should be temporarily separated," he said.
According to him, now there are still toddlers who are currently undergoing COVID-19 health care at the Depati Bahrin Sungailiat hospital.
"The community must increase the discipline of implementing health procedures because COVID-19 cases are still being found every day," said Boy Yandra.
