President Jokowi Review Mass Vaccination At Police Headquarters, Welcomed By National Police Chief Listyo Sigit To TNI Commander Hadi Tjahjanto
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reviewed the mass vaccination of COVID-19 to the public at Bhayangkara Field, Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Saturday, June 26.
President Jokowi arrived at Bhayangkara Square at around 09.50 WIB and was greeted by the National Police Chief, General Police Listyo Sigit, TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, Head of National Agency for Disaster Management, Ganip Warsito, and Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
The President then toured the locations of registration, initial screening, and injecting the COVID-19 vaccine to the public.
On the sidelines of the review, the Head of State also took time to talk with the vaccine recipient community. The public also asked the President for a selfie.
After the tour, the President also discussed with National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and Head of National Agency for Disaster Management, Ganip Warsito.
The vaccination process at the National Police Headquarters has started at 07.00 WIB, starting from the registration stage, initial screening, vaccine injection, and post-vaccination observation.

After reviewing the vaccination at Bhayangkara Field, the President had a dialogue with police and regional leaders via video teleconference. Some of the officials who had a dialogue with the President were the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Panca Putra, South Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Merdisyam, East Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Herry Rudolf Nahak, and Maluku Governor Murad Ismail.
"I would like to thank you for the mass vaccination event this morning which was carried out simultaneously in all Regional Police, Military Area Command, and in collaboration with local governments. In July and later in August, we will target twice the current one", President Jokowi said as reported by Antara.
