Can't Get No Emmy Awards While Starring In Friends, Courteney Cox Disappointed
JAKARTA - The Friends series is one of the most successful television shows throughout its broadcast. Thanks to this popularity, the players of this series have received nominations in various well-known award events.
Actress Courteney Cox is the only Friends star not to be nominated for an Emmy, a television award. He expressed his feelings of disappointment in a recent interview with Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow.
"Yeah, it hurts my feelings. When every player is nominated except for me, it disappoints my feelings. I feel good for everything but I think “Oh, just me? (which was not nominated) It hurts," he quoted Insider as saying today, June 25.
During the 10 seasons of Friends, Lisa Kudrow received the most Emmy nominations, six times, one of which was in 1998 where she won the nomination.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston with five nominations, Matt LeBlanc with three Emmy wins, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry got one nomination.
"I don't want to take it from anyone else. Sometimes I want to be involved in certain things," he continued.
On the other hand, Courteney Cox was nominated for the Cougar Town series at the Golden Globes - another prestigious award.
Recently, the six Friends stars reunited in a special event format and aired on HBO Max. During the event, they talked about filming with presenter James Corden.
