JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan expressed his sadness when he met families who had lost loved ones due to COVID-19. Anies shared this sad moment on his official Twitter, @aniesbaswedan, and his Facebook account, Wednesday, June 23.
"Deaths are not just statistics. But about our relatives, people who were still healthy, are still together with their beloved families. Now they are separated forever. Remember, each number is a story of immeasurable sorrow," Anies tweeted on Twitter, as quoted on Thursday, June 24.
Anies told a long story when he met people who had lost their loved ones. A mother who lost her husband, a father who lost his wife, or a teenager who gave up his parents for good.
