12 Health Workers And Employees Of Batang Hospital Are Positive For COVID-19, Delta Variant Has Not Been Tracked
BATANG - The acting head of the Batang District Health Office, Didiet Wisnuhardanto, informed that as many as 12 health workers and employees of the Kalisari Regional General Hospital tested positive for COVID-19.
"Currently, 12 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 are undergoing self-isolation," he said, quoted by Antara, Sunday, June 20.
According to him, the dozens of people are asymptomatic (OTG) so they are self-isolating in their respective homes.
Previously, the Health Office also mentioned that as many as 24 health workers at the Subah Health Center, Batang, had also tested positive for COVID-19.
"The tracking results came from one of the health workers at the Subah Health Center who went to Solo to take his child," he said.

Didiet said that currently Batang Regency is categorized as an orange zone area, so people are asked to improve compliance with health protocols and discipline in implementing the 5M, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands with soap, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility.
"The number of positive cases of COVID-19 is still fluctuating every day," said Didiet.
He said that currently, the number of beds in the hospital was 14 of the 42 COVID-19 special beds and room I.
"Nevertheless, from the tracking results, no mutations have been found for the Delta or Indian variant of COVID-19 in this area," he said.
