135 Kilogram Sabu Distributor Of International Network Threatened To Death Penalty
JAKARTA - Three drug dealers who are included in the international network face the death penalty or life imprisonment because of the evidence confiscated by the Banjarmasjn Police Narcotics Unit is weighing 135.02 kilograms.
"It's true, the three dealers face the death penalty or life imprisonment because we confiscated a large amount of crystal methamphetamine from them, namely 135.02 kilograms", said Banjarmasin Police Chief Kombes Rachmat Hendrawan in Banjarmasjn, reported by Antara, Tuesday, June 15.
He said that currently investigators are conducting an examination of the three perpetrators to complete the minutes of the examination for further legal proceedings.
This 135.02 kilograms of evidence is the biggest catch of the Banjarmasin Police to date, and from the disclosure of the case, his party managed to save more than 2,025,561 people from the dangers of drug abuse.
"More than 2 million people we rescued from drug abuse of the type of methamphetamine", said the Banjarmasin Police Chief.

Meanwhile, the Head of General crime at the Banjarmasin District Attorney's Office, Denny Wicaksono, said that the three perpetrators of illicit drug trafficking of the type of methamphetamine with 135.02 kilograms of evidence could be sentenced to death or life imprisonment.
"We see that the evidence is more than 100 kilograms, so later we will apply layered articles with a maximum sentence of life or the death penalty", he said.
Denny also said that currently his party is just waiting for the investigation process from the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Investigation Unit before being transferred to the Banjarmasin District Attorney.
"We appreciate the arrest of the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Investigation Unit and let's support the police in their efforts to eradicate illicit drug trafficking", he said.
For information, the three couriers of illicit goods were identified with the initials AAM aka Aris (34) residents of Martapura, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. Then BAH aka Bunna (34) a resident of Baru Ulu village, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
The courier was then known to have the initials ES alias Ocha (44) a resident of Baru Ulu Village, West Balikpapan District, East Kalimantan. All the perpetrators were arrested along with evidence of the drug crimes they committed.
The disclosure of the 135 kilograms of methamphetamine began on Friday, June 11, on the side of the road in the City of Banjarmasin, then expanded to Jalan Sukamara, Landasan Ulin Village, Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan.
