Microsoft Flight Simulator Can Be Played On Xbox Series X
JAKARTA - Owners of the Xbox Series X or S console have the right to be happy. One of the iconic games that went viral, Microsoft Flight Simulator, can finally be played on consoles.
Citing the official Xbox blog, the company plans to launch the Microsoft Flight Simulator game in July. The developer also promises 'the same level of depth as the PC version' through a weather system feature to match conditions in the real world.
"We are excited to expand (the Microsoft Flight Simulator game, -ed) and give aspiring pilots more opportunities to fly by bringing this simulation to consoles", wrote Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, Jorg Neumann on the Xbox blog, Sunday, June 13.
According to the plan, one of the iconic simulation games developed by Microsoft will be available on July 27. Not only games, but the company will also launch Xbox Game Pass.
Currently, Xbox Series X or S console owners can pre-order and pre-install. However, this privilege can only be accessed by Xbox console users who have registered with Xbox Game Pass.
If you have pre-installed it, prospective pilots can immediately feel the experience of flying an authentic plane simulation – one of the superior values of this game that has made it coveted by many players since its release.
“From light aircraft to wide-body jets, your pilot's skills will be put to the test in the face of real-time weather challenges. This includes cloud patterns around the world, wind speed, temperature, humidity, rain, and storms", the company wrote.
Top Gun: Maverick
In addition to announcing the expansion of devices that support the Microsoft Flight Simulator game, Microsoft also delivered other notifications. Namely the collaboration between game developers and Paramount Pictures by launching the Top Gun: Maverick expansion pack.
This collaboration is a celebration of the launch of the new film Top Gun: Maverick. And through the expansion pack, the developer hopes that players can feel the sensation of being a jet pilot from the United States Air Force.
The plan, the Top Gun: Maverick expansion pack will be launched on November 19 simultaneously with the global release of the film of the same name.

Getting acquainted with Microsoft Flight Simulator
The Microsoft Flight Simulator game was launched last year. According to the company's recognition, this game is the beginning of the development of the best simulation game.
Along with the addition of experiences that are presented in real-time from the real world, players can also experience every update on the console version.
Since its inception, the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator game is CPU and GPU intensive for Ultra 4K settings. As a result, in the early days, some of the latest processors and GPUs had difficulty displaying images with a 60Hz refresh rate.
Luckily, this problem will most likely not be encountered by players on the Xbox console version of the game. According to Jorg Neurman's explanation last year, quoted from The Verge, the company will offer optimization efforts on the Xbox. So, it is possible that the Xbox version will be much more optimal than the other device versions.
