JAKARTA - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially launched the latest Suzuki XL7 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, and it is also a debut for the global market.
The 7-seater SUV produced by PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM) has been refreshed to improve customer satisfaction.
Suzuki presents 3 variants of choice for consumers, namely the XL7 New Alpha Hybrid, XL7 New Beta Hybrid, and XL7 New Zeta, which are priced starting from Rp. 274.3 million and the most expensive reaching Rp. 312.9 million.
All of them carry the concept of a tough SUV product that provides comfort and spaciousness for 7 passengers. The update includes dynamic touches to strengthen the XL7's character firmly, modern and bold.
President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) & PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM), Minoru Amano, said the improvements to the XL7 that the company launched are now fully inspired by customer input, and are combined by Suzuki's philosophy of continuous improvement.
"We want to build something that not only meets current standards, but also invites consumers to step into the future gracefully," he said, in his remarks, at ICE BSD, Wednesday, July 29.
In detail, the exterior of all variants of the Suzuki XL7 has become fresher with a number of new elements, such as the Bold Design Front Grille, Bold LED Fog Lamp, 16-inch Alloy Wheel with a new design, Rear Combination Lamp with Black Accent, and Shark Fin Antenna. In the New Alpha Hybrid variant, black accents are used dominantly in various parts, resulting in a more imposing appearance.
The interior area of all variants now comes with a new accent ornament instrument panel Metallic Hagane Dark Silver. This color accent is also applied to the new steering wheel garnish color on the steering wheel of the New Alpha Hybrid and New Beta Hybrid variants, as well as on the new center console garnish color which is an additional modern ornament in all variants.
Safety and security aspects are also taken into account according to the trends and main needs of today's vehicle users. Specifically for the XL7 New Alpha Hybrid, Suzuki added essential technologies such as 360 View Camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Digital Video Recorder (DVR).
From the performance sector, the Suzuki XL7 still relies on a K15B engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc with Suzuki Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology on the top two variants. The hybrid system will optimize fuel consumption efficiency, as well as positioning itself as a more environmentally friendly vehicle in its class.
"When Suzuki decided to give birth to the latest XL7, we had one big mission. We didn't want to change what customers already love about this car, namely its toughness, its spacious cabin, and its incredible efficiency. Our job is to listen to customer stories, then improve the things that matter most to the whole family's journey," said Donny Saputra, Deputy Managing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS).
