COVID-19 Cases In Kudus Regency Exceeded 10,063 Cases

KUDUS - The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 in Kudus Regency, Central Java noted that the number of people infected with COVID-19 continues to grow. The latest accumulated data is 10,063 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

"The number of COVID-19 cases is data as of June 10, 2021, after there were additional new cases of 224 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19," said the Daily Executor of the Head of the Health Office of Kudus Masut Regency, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 10.

The number of patients undergoing treatment at the hospital increased to 486 cases, while on the previous day 437 cases.

The number of COVID-19 patients declared cured also continues to grow because the total currently reaches 7,085 cases after there were additional 231 recovered patients.

Cases of death due to COVID-19 are still fluctuating with 24 additional cases today, bringing the cumulative number to 808 cases.

To suppress the spread of cases, all tourist attractions in Kudus were closed, including the sudden market or impromptu market. Food stall owners are also asked not to serve buyers who eat on the spot. They only serve purchases with packaged food to take home.

The bed capacity for the isolation of COVID-19 patients in all referral hospitals was also increased to 1,233 beds, while in the ICU there were 57 beds spread across seven referral hospitals.
