National Police Chief Prepares Contingency Management To Reduce COVID-19 Rate In Kudus: Supervised By Army And Police
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that in handling the spike in the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Kudus Regency, Central Java, several contingency management had been prepared to suppress and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the region from expanding.
In a written statement received Monday, the National Police Chief mentioned one of the contingency management by strengthening the RT-PCR swab test and 5M education (washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility) and 3T (testing, tracing, and treatment).
"Reactive people are immediately directed not to leave the house and self-isolate until the results of the RT-PCR come out," said Sigit.
This is to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 to other residents.
"Supervised by TNI-Polri officers at micro PPKM. This is to prevent the reactive ones from infecting other communities," said the former Banten Police Chief.

In addition, Sigit continued, people who were positive for COVID-19 through RT-PCR who were self-isolating at home were immediately transferred to the referral place that had been prepared.
"The evacuation that is currently carrying out self-isolation at home has been shifted to the Haji Donoyudan Boyolali Dormitory as a reference for central self-isolation in Central Java with an allocation of 800 beds equipped with health workers and tight security from the TNI-Polri," said Sigit.
On the other hand, said Sigit, security forces will monitor people entering and leaving the red zone. The area around Kudus Regency is asked to prepare contingency management to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"Going in and out of the red zone area is closely monitored, and people in the red zone area in the village are advised not to leave the house for five days, the results will be evaluated. Others are preparing for the main contingency plan bordering Kudus," said Sigit
Since Saturday, June 5, the National Police Chief together with the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, the Head of BNPB Ganip Warsito, and several related parties have been directly involved in handling the spike in COVID-19 cases in Kudus Regency, Central Java.
