COVID-19 Update As Of June 4: New Cases 6,486, Accumulated 1,843,612
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 107,636 specimens were examined with the result that there were 6,486 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 1,843,612 people and active cases are 94,773 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Friday, June 4.
Today's recovered cases increased by 5,950 cases, bringing the total to 1,697,543 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 201 people and the total was 51,296 people.
The province with the newest cases was in West Java with 952 cases and a total of 317,899 cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta which has 906 new cases with a total of 432,799 cases. Central Java has 887 new cases and a total of 203,250 cases. Then, Riau has 593 new cases and a total of 62,110 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 1,736 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 815 recovered cases, Riau with an additional 700 recovered cases, and Central Java with an additional 572 recovered cases.

There is one province that reported no new cases today, namely Papua.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 17,082,313.
"Positive results per number of specimens examined or this week's positivity rate of 13.93 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 74,774 people. Currently, 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces have COVID-19 cases.
To date, 17,291,504 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 11,055,554 the second dose of vaccination. Meanwhile, the total target of vaccination stages 1 and 2 reached 40,349,049 people.
