Tour Bus From Bandung Stuck In Kelok 44 Agam Regency
AGAM - A tour bus from Bandung, West Java was stuck in Kelok 44, its place in Kelok 14, Tanjungraya District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra.
The deputy head of the Tanjungraya sub-district police, Iptu Akhiruddin, said the bus with driver Aep (54) was stuck in Kelok 14 due to a sharp bend, the car was long and low, so it got stuck.
"The bus was towed with a truck and the car was parked to a safer location while looking for ways to get through the area", he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 4.
The bus passed the Kelok 44 road from the Bukuttinggi direction to pick up 30 passengers to Jakarta in Lubukbasung.
To get to Lubukbasung, the driver uses the Google map application, so the application directs the driver past Kelok 44.
Arriving at Kelok 16 on Wednesday, June 2 in the morning, the car got stuck and after leaving the driver parked the car in a safe location.
On Friday morning, June 4, the driver asked for help from the Tanjungraya Police to get to Maninjau. At that time, the members emptied the vehicle from Maninjau and Matur.
However, when they arrived at Kelok 14, the car got stuck, so the car was towed with a truck.
"Currently, traffic is returning to normal after the car is parked in a safe area. This is thanks to the collaboration between Tanjungraya Police, Traffic Unit, and the community", said Iptu Akhiruddin.
Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic Division of the Agam Transportation Service, Apriwandi said the provincial road only had a capacity of eight tons and a length of nine meters.

However, the tourist bus that was stuck was about 12 meters long.
His party has installed traffic signs at the entrance to Kelok 44 where it is located at Simpang Gudang and Simpang Padang Luar.
"At Simpang Padang Luar, the signs have disappeared and we will re-install them", said Apriwandi.
