Aurelie Moeremans Officially Brings 'Broken Strings' to the Big Screen
JAKARTA - Through a post on his personal Instagram account, Aurelie announced that the story of "Broken Strings" which went viral and touched the hearts of many people would soon be adapted into a film.
"After a lot of consideration, and meetings with various production houses and directors, I finally decided to bring Broken Strings to the big screen," said Aurelie, quoted by VOI from @aurelie's Instagram, Friday, March 20.
This decision was made by Aurelie after going through a long and mature consideration process. He admitted that he had held a series of meetings with various production houses (PH) and famous directors before finally deciding on his choice.
For Aurelie, bringing "Broken Strings" to the film is not merely about finding financial gain or chasing instant popularity. He emphasized the integrity of the story and the honesty of the message as his main priority in choosing colleagues.
"This is not a decision I made because of who is most promising to go viral, or who dares to pay the most," continued Aurelie.
The 30-year-old actress prefers to follow her heart and find filmmakers who have the same vision as her.
"I choose based on my feelings, who really cares about my story, who wants to convey this message honestly, with heart, not just because of hype," he added.
With this plan, Aurelie hopes that through the film, it can be an effective means of education for the wider community regarding the dangers of child grooming - a sensitive but important issue to talk about.
Aurelie hopes this work can give strength to survivors so that they do not feel fighting alone.
"I'm really excited for this journey. And I hope, with this film later, more people will be aware of the dangers of child grooming, and maybe help someone feel not alone," he said hopefully.
