Withdrawn From PDIP's Support, Alor Regent: I Really Regret This
JAKARTA - The Regent of Alor, East Nusa Tenggara, Amon Djobo said, the viral video of him scolding the Ministry of Social staff did not mention the PDI-Perjuangan at all.
So, he was surprised that PDIP withdrew its support. Amon regrets that the long-standing togetherness between himself and PDIP had to be stopped
"So my anger is because of the management of the distribution of social assistance to victims of the Seroja disaster carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs", Amon said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 3.
Nevertheless, he said, the revocation of PDI-P support for him was the right of the party bearing the white-nosed bull.
"That's fine, that's the right of the PDIP but I really regret it", he said.

Previously, members of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the NTT 1 electoral district, Flores Lembata and Alor Andreas Hugo Parera, stated that the PDIP DPP revoked its recommendation and support for the Regent of Alor, East Nusa Tenggara, Amon Djobo, after the viral video in question scolded the subordinates of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.
"The letter of revocation of support was made because the PDIP DPP in November 2017 had issued a recommendation of support to Amon Djobo to run in the 2018 Alor election", he said.
Through this letter of revocation of support, the DPP instructed the Alor PDIP DPC to coordinate with all levels of the PDIP faction in the local DPRD to take a stand against the regent in the process of administering the government in Alor Regency.
