COVID-19 Patients Increase To 177 People, Wisma Atlet Hospital Beds Occupancy Today Reaches 35.8 Percent
JAKARTA - There was an increase in the occupancy rate of beds for COVID-19 patients at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran today. Currently, the utilization reaches 35.8 percent, so there is 64.2 percent of beds are not occupied by patients.
Head of Information for Defense Area Joint Command I (Kogabwilhan I), Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said that as of today, there are 177 people who have just been treated by Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.
"Inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital are 2.148 people from 5.994 bed capacities. Initially, there were 1.971 people being treated and today there are 177 people", said Aris in his statement, Tuesday, June 1.
The details, there are 1.101 women and 1.047 men. They are undergoing isolation in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.
So, since the beginning it was used as an isolation place on March 23, 2020, until now, the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital has taken care of 86.074 coronavirus patients.

"There were 83.926 patients discharged, with details 82.958 patients recovered, 880 were referred to other hospitals, and 88 people died", he said.
Currently, all isolated patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.
Meanwhile, patients with asymptomatic categories undergo isolation at Wisma Atlet Quarantine Pademangan. This hospital is also used as a repatriation/migrant workers (PMI) isolation place. Towers 8, 9, and 10 of Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently have 4.291 inpatients.
"Today there has been a reduction in 112 patients undergoing isolation at Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Yesterday, 4.403 people were hospitalized", he concluded.
