Stopped By SEC, The Price Ripple Cryptocurrency Skyrocketed In Last 24 Hours

JAKARTA – Ripple Labs as the Ripple cryptocurrency development company (XRP) is currently facing a lawsuit from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). However, this has little effect on the price of Ripple in today's crypto market.

Based on data from CoinGecko on Tuesday, June 1, at 09:49 a.m. local time, Ripple's price touched the level of IDR 14.901. The day before, the price of XRP was in the range of IDR 14.009. Ripple's price has increased by 17 percent in the last 24 hours.

This increase is the largest since the market crash a few days ago. The positive trend pushed up an increase in market capitalization which rose 2.96 percent. Ripple is ranked 6th by market cap behind Cardano (ADA) and Binance Coin (BNB).

During this one week, the price of XRP experienced a positive trend and experienced a significant strengthening. Ripple has touched its all-time high on January 7, 2018.

At that time, XRP touched the level of IDR 45.650. Currently, Ripple is slowly rising in the cryptocurrency market which is reviving.

On the other hand, Ripple is also rumored to want to immediately take the floor on the exchange following Coinbase, a crypto exchange platform, which has already been listed on Nasdaq.

In fact, Ripple has been planning to go public since 2020. However, the plan was foiled by the SEC.

Ripple Labs CEO, Brad Garlinghouse said his party really wanted to be listed on the exchange. The plan will most likely be implemented if the barriers from the US Exchange and Exchange Commission end, as reported by CryptoGlobe.
