Lee Hyun Woo Joins The Korean Version Of ‘Money Heist’, Replaces Park Jung Woo

JAKARTA - Actor Lee Hyun Woo has been confirmed to join the Korean version of the original series Money Heist from Netflix.

Today, Monday, May 31, Lee Hyun Woo replaced actor Park Jung Woo to play the character Rio. Park Jung Woo stepped down from his role because he had schedule conflicts with the Korean drama he was playing.

Rio is the youngest member of Money Heist who has charisma and strong character. In accordance with the original series, Money Heist tells of a robbery by a group.

In addition to Lee Hyun Woo, actress Im Ji Yeon is considering an offer to play a new character named Seoul.

Previously, Netflix announced the Korean version of Money Heist, namely Yoo Ji Tae, Park Hae Soo, Jeon Jong Seo, Lee Won Jong, Kim Ji Hoon, Jang Yoon Ju, Kim Ji Hun, Lee Kyu Ho, Kim Yunjin, Kim Sung o, Park Myung Hoon and Lee Joobeen.

The Korean version of Money Heist will be written by Ryu Yong Jae and Kim Hong Sun.

Lee Hyun Woo last acted in The Liar and His Lover in 2017. After that he underwent military service and was discharged in 2019. Now he is busy shooting the film Dream with Park Seo-joon and IU.
