'School Of Rock' Drummer Kevin Clark Was Hit By A Car And Killed While Cycling

JAKARTA - Kevin Clark, one of the actors in the film School of Rock, died on Wednesday, May 26 after being hit by a car.

Clark reportedly was cycling around Chicago, United States. Then a car hit him. The car was driven by a 20-year-old woman.

Clark died at the age of 32. His departure surprised several of his friends, including actor Jack Black who co-starred with him in the film School of Rock.

"Kevin is gone. Too fast. Beautiful soul. So many happy memories. Broken heart. I send love to his family and the entire School of Rock community”, he said in the caption.

Kevin Clark is a child actor who became known after starring in School of Rock in 2003. After that, he developed a career as a musician and briefly filled the drums for Jack Black's band.

School of Rock is a popular film about a rock guitarist who is fired from his band. Needing money, Dewey Finn (played by Jack Black) teaches music at a private school.

However, the music that Finn teaches is a rock genre in which he has been criticized by his parents. Finn racked his brains to keep spreading rock music by forming a band with his students.
