Ammar Zoni Transferred from Nusakambangan Prison to Jakarta to Attend Trial
JAKARTA - Actor Ammar Zoni and four other inmates have been transferred from the Karanganyar Maximum Security Prison, Nusakambangan. This transfer was carried out to facilitate the process of the trial they will soon face.
This information was confirmed directly by the Sub-Directorate of Cooperation of the Directorate General of Customs, Rika Aprianti.
"The transfer of 5 inmates on behalf of Amar Zoni and friends has been carried out," he said in an official statement, quoted by VOI, Sunday, December 14.
The transfer was carried out on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Ammar Zoni and his colleagues are now temporarily stationed at the Jakarta Narcotics Prison.
This transfer process involves cooperation between law enforcement agencies. Its implementation is carried out by the Central Jakarta District Attorney's Office with tight escort from the police.
"The transfer was carried out by the Central Jakarta District Attorney's Office with the escort of the Metro Police," explained Rika.
The entourage arrived at the Jakarta Narcotics Prison around 18.00 WIB. Upon arrival there, Ammar Zoni and the others immediately underwent a series of standard procedures.
The procedure includes administrative reception and health checks. This is done to ensure that their condition is in good condition after traveling.
After all procedures were completed, they were not immediately combined with other inmates. Ammar Zoni and his colleagues were placed in a special room.
"Furthermore, he was placed in the Patsus Room (Special Placement)," added Rika.
