Directorate General Of PAS Approves Temporary Transfer Of Ammar Zoni To Jakarta Narcotics Prison For Trial
The Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjen PAS) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has officially issued a temporary transfer permit for Ammar Zoni artists and colleagues. The actor will be transferred from Karang Anyar Prison, Nusakambangan, to Jakarta Narcotics Prison.
The Head of the Sub-Directorate for Cooperation of the Directorate General of PAS, Rika Aprianti, confirmed this. He stated that a letter of approval from the Director General of Corrections had been issued for the benefit of the ongoing legal process.
"A letter of approval from the Director General of Corrections has been issued regarding the temporary transfer of Ammar Zoni and his friends to the Jakarta Narcotics Prison, during the trial period," said Rika Aprianti to the media crew, Thursday, December 11.
However, Rika emphasized that this transfer was not permanent. Ammar Zoni will only be in Jakarta during the trial process. After the verdict or series of trials are over, he must be returned to a high risk cell in Nusakambangan.
"After the trial is finished, to return it back to Karang Anyar Nusakambangan Prison," said Rika.

Regarding the technical implementation in the field, Rika explained that the responsibility for escorting and security during the trip was with the Prosecutor's Office. However, the original prison will still assist the process.
"The process of moving and escorting is the responsibility of the Prosecutor's Office. The transfer is also carried out by the Karang Anyar Class 1 prison officers," he concluded.
