The Story Of Revalina S. Temat Drowns Using Mukena To Necklace Iron Weighters In The Latest Film

JAKARTA - Senior actress Rivalina S. Temat again greeted her fans through the latest religious drama film titled God, Is It True You Hear Me?. In the film produced by Paragon Pictures, Rivalina plays the character Sarah, a wife who faces a life test repeatedly.

Revalina admits that Sarah's role is very draining of energy, both physically and mentally. She had to keep her character's emotions constantly tested, from domestic conflicts to the lowest point in her life. In fact, she said that almost every day she had to do a crying scene.

However, the toughest challenge actually comes from a crucial scene in the water. Rivalina is required to do a scene of drowning in the pool while wearing a complete mukena. This turned out to be much more difficult than her image.

"It's really difficult because swimming with mukena is difficult. Every time you enter the water, the mukena is running up again, so you can't go down," said Rivalina at a press conference in South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 10.

The film crew had difficulty finding a way to keep Revalina's body at the bottom of the pool. In fact, he had tried to hold on to the poles on the right and left, but the expanding mukena cloth made him lift.

Finally, an unexpected solution was found. Rivalina must be willing to be fitted with a weight that is commonly used for exercise in the gym.

"I poured the weight that made me dig two. So one here, one here. Finally, I just got down to the bottom," he explained.

The shooting situation is increasingly challenging because shooting is done from afternoon to evening, plus drizzling weather conditions. However, Rivalina was satisfied because her visual results became very exciting with the help of lighting and rainwater droplets.

When asked by the media how long he had to hold his breath, Rivalina answered jokingly.

"Five seconds? Two hours," he said.
