Bridge 12 Brand Fashion To Global Market Via ASIK Fashion Connect

JAKARTA Carrying the theme 'Connecting Indonesian Creativity to the Global Market', ASKIK Fashion Connect combines business matching and networking forums through creative brand presentations, with fashion exhibition and fashion shows in an integrated series of activities to accelerate exports of national creative products.

The Ministry of Creative Economy / Creative Economy Agency through the Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design held the ASIK (Indonesian Creative Export Acceleration) Fashion Connect 2025. This agenda is intended so that creative fighters, especially fashion sub-sectors, have the opportunity to go to the export market.

"This Fashion Connect asik is not only a celebration, but also an opportunity to go to the export market, become a space to collaborate and network to strengthen opportunities to enter the global market," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene while attending the ASIK Fashion Connect which was held at the Indonesian National Library on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

The ASIK program initiated by the Ministry of Creative Economy is to prepare creative economy activists who have export capacity to penetrate the global market. ASIK Fashion Connect 2025 is the highlight of the event to display the results of the ASIK Batch I development program with a target to increase global exposure to the potential of modest fashion, sustainable fashion, and craft-based design Indonesia as well as build a sustainable network between designers, producers, and world market players to increase national creative economy growth.

On the same occasion, Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design, Yuke Sri Rahayu, emphasized that ASIK Fashion Connect is a strategic platform that can connect local creativity with international business networks and modes.

Through collaboration between creative actors, buyers, and world fashion industry stakeholders, this event shows the new face of Indonesian fashion with character, competitiveness, and export-oriented characteristics. This program is expected to strengthen Ekraf's positioning as the main facilitator in encouraging exports of national creative fashion," he explained.

Brand presentation activities facilitated 12 brands, consisting of 10 fashion brands and 2 accessories brands selected based on the results of curation for ASIK Batch I program participants who are ready to penetrate the global market to be met with national buyers and from various countries. This forum is a collaboration space with buyers and international partners to open up new business opportunities such as exports, joint collection, to licenses.

ASIK Fashion Connect also presents the Creative Export Corner area which is a mini exhibition to display products and catalogs from selected ASIK Batch I participants which can be directly accessed by buyers and the media. Twelve selected brands are Rengganis, KaIND, ASTIGA LEATHER, Rubysh, BRILIANTO, Indonesian dots, Batik Widayati, Anantari, GLOESHOES, ALRAFI, APIKMEN, and maima.

Each brand displays its flagship collection with a sustainable narrative and potential Indonesian fashion business that is presented visually and interactively reflecting the transformation of the local craftsmanship towards a global contractive design in a series of ASIK Fashion Connect activities ranging from brand presentations, fashion exhibitions, to fashion shows.

The ASIK Fashion Connect event emphasized that Indonesia's culture, creativity and creative economy have the potential to develop through connection, collaboration, and courage to penetrate the world market.
