100 Premium Carpets For Sumatra Disaster Victims To Make It Comfortable In Refugees
JAKARTA - Most of the victims of the Sumatra flood disaster are currently still alive in urining posts. There they live modestly, with the help of various parties.
Approximately three weeks have passed, it is time for conditions in the evacuation to provide comfort for the victims under shelter. Royal Rugs Indonesia shows its social concern by sending humanitarian assistance in the form of 100 premium carpets measuring 150 x 200 cm to disaster victims in Sumatra. This assistance is expected to help improve the comfort of survivors who currently have to live in refugee camps.
"We hope that this assistance can ease the burden on disaster victims a little and provide additional comfort in refugee camps," said Tarun Chandru as Managing Director of Royal Rugs Indonesia, Jakarta (10/12/2025).
The delivery of aid is done as a form of corporate social responsibility as well as our commitment to support communities affected by natural disasters. The premium carpet was chosen because of the durability and comfort that is able to provide extra protection on the floor of the refugee camp, so that the refugees including children and the elderly can rest more properly.
"We believe that collaboration between the business world and humanitarian institutions is very important in accelerating the process of community recovery," he added.
