Google Photos Launches New Video Editing Feature, Similar To CapCut

JAKARTA Google added a number of new editing features to its cloud media storage application, namely Google Photos. This series of updates is a feature that is widely requested by users.

With this new feature addition, Google Photos is now not just a photo editing tool, but also a creative video editing tool. Users can create and perfect their videos directly from the app.

The first feature added is a template, a tool that offers a fast editing format. This format regulates the music, text, and video clips that are synchronized with the soundtrack. This feature is already available on Android.

By selecting a template and selecting the desired photos and videos, Photos will automatically string up a 'dominated spotlight video'. This process is claimed to make video creations can be shared easily and according to the rhythm of the selected music.

Google Photos also launched a new redesigned video editor for Android and iOS. This editor promises better speed and ease of use, ideal for perfecting the spotlight videos that have been created.

This updated editor is equipped with a universal timeline that supports multi-klip editing. Another improvement is the ability to explore and select music from the Google Photos library.

This feature allows users to add perfect soundtracks to their spotlight videos. Apart from music, Android users can now add styled text overlays to their spotlight videos.

This text can be adjusted to a variety of new fonts, colors, and backgrounds to ensure the message delivered stands out. Furthermore, the redesigned editor is now designated as the default video editor on Android for quick editing.
