Kampung Melayu Floods, Anies Baswedan Don't Be Disturbed, Busy To Taking Care Of Palestine

JAKARTA - Former Democratic Party politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean, again tweeted insinuating the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan about the flood in Kampung Melayu, East Jakarta.

Ferdinand said Anies Baswedan should not be bothered because he was busy taking care of Palestine.

"Do not be disturbed the Governor of Jakarta, he is busy taking care of Palestine first", Ferdinand wrote on his Twitter account, @FerdinandHaean3 quoted by VOI, Tuesday, May 25.

Ferdinand continued, about the flood of Jakarta will itself dry or wait for the dry season to arrive.

"The problem of Jakarta flood will also dry up when it is the dry season. Just be patient", Ferdinand tweet.

For information, several areas in Jakarta were hit by heavy rains for several hours on Monday, May 24, evening. As a result, several roads have been flooded.

Until this morning at 06.00 WIB, there are still as many as 14 neighboring pillars (RT) in East Jakarta and South Jakarta that are still flooded. A total of 3 RT are in Kampung Melayu and 11 RT in Jati Padang Village.

Separately, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Riza Patria, admitted that there will always be inundation in the capital after heavy rains. Meanwhile, flooding occurs if the volume of water drops in large quantities. However, it is important how long the flooding can recede.

"Flooding is relative if puddles exist. In Jakarta, there are indeed puddle points, which is if there is rain. But, most importantly how long the inundation can recede or the flood can recede", Riza said at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, May 25.

Riza claims the inundation point in Jakarta is now decreasing. However, there are still several locations that are inundated even flooded when the rain arrives.

"It is not as easy as turning the palm. It takes time, it takes to process, it needs financing", Riza said.
