Pig Breeders Will Get 50 Tons Of SPHP Corn Allotment
JAKARTA - The government ensures that pig breeders in Denpasar, Bali, get corn from the Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) program.
This policy is in line with the extension of the program's distribution until January 2026.
This was conveyed by the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan at a press conference on the SPHP of Corn and Fertilizer at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 2.
Zulhas, as he is familiarly called, said that the distribution of SPHP corn for pig breeders was a proposal from Commission IV of the DPR RI.
"I think pigholders in Bali also need corn, pork breeders just ask for 50 tons," said Zulhas.
Regarding SPHP corn, Zulhas said the program should end on November 15, 2025.
However, he continued, the government decided to extend the proposal of the breeders.
"We will extend it until the end of January because the goods are still in Bulog to supply livestock entrepreneurs or animal feed who are MSMEs, in Blitar, in Central Java, corn or SPHP will be given at a subsidy price," he said.

Zulhas emphasized that the program must be prioritized for small businesses. Given, the price of corn is currently rising.
"Seeing the condition and development of corn prices that are high and tend to rise, so we will extend this until January. But this is with the notes of the Minister of Agriculture (Andi Amran Sulaiman), we are SPHP for local entrepreneurs, don't be big," he said.
