Not To Agnez Mo, Ari Bias Demands Compensation Of IDR 4.9 Billion Only To Holywings
JAKARTA - Ari Bias confirmed the existence of a civil lawsuit registered at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court on November 25.
Through an official statement to the media crew, Ari said that the lawsuit filed against PT Aneka Bintang Gading (Holywings) was a continuation of the alleged copyright infringement of his song created by Agnez Mo, Just Ticket.
"It is true that I registered a lawsuit with the Central Jakarta Commercial Court for the continuation of the copyright in violation of my song entitled 'Just Ticket' which was performed without permission at a concert in three places by PT. Aneka Bintang Gading as the organizer of the event," said Ari.
The songwriter, who is also a member of the All-Indonesian Composite Association (AKSI), also wants to straighten out the positions of the parties in his lawsuit, so that there is no misunderstanding.
Meanwhile, Ari Bias as the Plaintiff with PT Aneka Bintang Gading as the Defendant.
In addition, there are three parties who are the Defendants, namely Agnez Mo, the National Collective Management Institute (LMKN), and Karya Cipta Indonesia (KCI).

In this case, Ari wants to explain that the claim for compensation costs of Rp4.9 billion is only aimed at the Defendant.
"The defendants have no legal responsibility. I include them in the lawsuit to be able to provide information and complete the formal requirements for the lawsuit so that the lawsuit is not lacking," said Ari.
Previously, Sunoto as Spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District Court said Ari suspected that there was a copyright infringement for the use of the song Just Ticket in three shows where the Defendant was the organizer" in 2023.
The defendant held three commercial concerts from May 25 to 27, in 2023, in Surabaya, Jakarta, and Bandung, featuring a song called Just Gilang created by the Plaintiff without permission and without listing the name of the Plaintiff as the creator," concluded Sunoto.
