Menhut Raja Juli Antoni's Subordinates Were Summoned By The KPK Regarding The Inhutani V Bribery Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined three witnesses regarding the alleged bribery of forest management in the PT Industri Hutan V or Inhutani V area today, December 2. One of those questioned was Khairi Wenda, who served as Director of Forest Utilization Business Control at the Ministry of Forestry.

Based on the search, Khairi was inaugurated by the Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni on Thursday, January 23.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, December 2.

Apart from Khairi, investigators also examined two other witnesses. They are Apik Karyana who is the President Commissioner of PT Inhutani V and Winanti Meilia Rahayu as General Manager (GM) of the Lampung Unit.

Budi has not yet detailed the material for the examination. However, investigators continue to investigate the alleged bribery that started with a hand arrest operation (OTT) and ensnared the President Director of PT Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady.

As for now, the KPK prosecutor has charged Djunaidi Nur as Director of PT Paramitra Mulia Langgeng (PML) and his confidant, Aditya Simaputra and licensing staff of PT Sungai Budi Group at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Tuesday, November 11. At the trial, both were said to have given bribes to Dicky as President Director of PT Inhutani V.

Previously reported, the KPK appointed the Managing Director of PT Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady; Director of PT Paramita Mulia Langgeng (PML), Djunaedi; and Aditya as the licensing staff of SB Group as suspects for alleged bribery permits for the use of forest areas. The determination was made after all three were entangled in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, August 13.

In this silent operation, the KPK confiscated 189 thousand Singapore dollars in cash; IDR 8.5 million; Jeep Rubicon; and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

For his actions, Djunaidi and Aditya as the givers, are suspected of committing acts of corruption as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law, jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Dicky as the recipient is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated in Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
