JAKARTA - Dangdut singer Dewi Perssik finally took firm legal action against the spreaders of fake news and bullying on social media. He has officially submitted the handling of this case to his attorney, Sandy Arifin.

"In the past, the people who were most reprimanded were already deleted," said Dewi Perssik in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday, November 26.

However, this time he felt that the perpetrators were deliberately continuing to make fake news about him.

He was encouraged by his friends and attorneys to teach lessons so that the perpetrators would not repeat their actions. The goal is clear, namely to provide a true deterrent effect.

"So far, we forgive people, yes, that's it. Maybe because it was a time, so they were very deliberately," he continued. He suspected that his habit of forgiveness was actually being used by irresponsible parties.

Dewi Perssik's decision to take legal action was triggered by a series of slander and bullying that she constantly accepted. He revealed some heinous accusations addressed to him every time he made a live broadcast on social media.

One of the fake news that angered him the most was the accusation that she had expelled actress Irish Bella. Dewi Perssik firmly denied this.

"I was told that it hasn't been done yet, I've been accusing people of getting rid of it, even though I didn't get rid of Irish Bella's problem," he explained.

He felt that the narrative was deliberately twisted to corner him. In addition, he is also accused of teasing someone's husband, a slander that he thinks is very baseless.

"Even though who is the man I'm trying to be?" he argued.

Not only that, but the bullied also often brought up their past with the wrong narrative. They speak as if they know their life deeply, even though they don't.

Dewi Perssik reminded that if a conversation is not based on the truth, then it will become slander. He also regretted netizens who easily believed in hoax news.
