Russia Has Not Received A Geneva Version Of The US Peace Plan For Ukraine
JAKARTA - Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday Russia had not yet received an official US version of Ukraine's settlement plan, which had been adjusted during consultations between the United States and Ukraine in Geneva, Switzerland.
"We haven't seen any plans yet, we have read the statement issued after discussions held in Geneva," he told TASS as quoted November 24.
"We haven't officially received anything," he said.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that the Kremlin observed "several adjustments have been made to the manuscript previously sent to Moscow."
The day before, the United States and Ukraine held consultations on Washington's 28-point "peace plan". Foreign Minister Marco Rubio called the meeting the most productive so far in the whole conflict.
Ukrainian media reported that Washington and Kyiv had successfully agreed on most of the plans. Foreign Minister Rubio said Uncle Sam's country agreed to shift Ukraine's integration in Europe and its membership in NATO into separate negotiations.
