Investigate Corruption Of COVID-19 Masks, Mataram Perika Matathon Police Perpetrators Of MSMEs In Sumbawa
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Mataram City Police (Polresta), West Nusa Tenggara, have marathonly examined witnesses from among MSME actors on the island of Sumbawa who were involved in the 2020 COVID-19 mask procurement project.
Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim AKP Regi Halili said that this examination was part of fulfilling the prosecutor's instructions for the follow-up to the investigation of the corruption case file belonging to six suspects.
"Yes, the UMKM examination on Sumbawa Island will continue, according to the prosecutor's instructions," he said in Mataram, Monday, which was confiscated by Antara.
Most of the MSME actors involved in the procurement are in Empang dam Plampang District, Sumbawa Regency. Investigators carried out a marathon examination by combing the two sub-districts.
This marathon effort is to pursue the target of fulfilling the prosecutor's instructions before December 20, 2025. "So, before December 20, it must have been fulfilled," he said.
In pursuing the fulfillment target, continued Regi, investigators were also asked to strengthen evidence from expert statements, both from the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and also the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP).
"Other instructions, we are asked that the files be separated into five files from the previous three files," he said.

The investigators previously transferred the corruption case files belonging to the six suspects after the completeness of the evidence was completed.
The results of the investigation, the police made the files of six suspects into three. One file for the four suspects belongs to Wirajaya Kusuma, Cholid Tomassoang Bulu, Kamaruddin, and M. Hariyadi Wahyudi.
Investigators used their files in one unit because they came from the implementing committee from the NTB Cooperatives and MSMEs Service.
Starting from the role of Wirajaya Kusuma as the power user of the budget (KPA), Kamaruddin as the official commitment maker (PPK), M. Hariyadi Wahyudi as the technical executor of the activities (PPTK) and Cholid Tomassoang Bulu as the head of the MSME sector.
Two other suspects, namely Rabiatul Adawiyah, and Dewi Noviany, were completed by investigators in separate files.
In completing the files, investigators have examined at least 120 witnesses, experts, and found the results of the audit of state losses from BPKP NTB worth Rp1.58 billion from the nominal procurement of Rp12.3 billion.
Investigators have named six suspects by applying Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Investigators in this case have suspended the detention status of six suspects to city detention, after previously investigators had detained all of them at the Mataram Police Detention Center.
