Ministry Of Manpower Receives 884 Complaints For Entering Through The 'Report Of The Minister Of Manpower' Channel

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, revealed the latest developments in public complaints through the Menaker Report channel since its launch on November 12, 2025.

As of November 20, 2025, there were 884 incoming complaints and are being handled by the Manpower Supervisor at the central and regional levels.

Yassierli said, of these, 814 complaints had been verified, provided that one complaint contained more than one type of violation.

He detailed the complaints that included Labor Relations Normas as many as 441 complaints, Wages Norms as many as 427 complaints, Social Security Norms as many as 163 complaints, 145 occupational and resting time norms as many as K3 13 complaints and 11 other norms. complaint.

"So over the past two weeks, we have obtained initial statistics regarding the portrait of compliance with work norms and K3 norms in various workplaces. This data is important to strengthen future enforcement measures," Yassierli said at a press conference at the Ministry of Manpower Office, Thursday, November 20.

The Minister of Manpower then explained several examples of handling complaints that had been carried out by the supervisory staff. One of the cases came from Banten Province regarding the use of 583 Foreign Workers (TKA) without documents on the Plan to Use Foreign Workers (RPTKA) by a foreign company.

Employment supervisors from the center and provinces will immediately conduct inspections, issue inspection notes, and require companies to temporarily suspend all TKA activities until an official permit is issued. The company is also subject to a fine of IDR 588 million which has been deposited into the state treasury.

"This is one example. And for the record, in the last four months there have been 18 complaints related to violations of the use of foreign workers, with a total fine of more than IDR 7 billion," said the Minister of Manpower.

Another example comes from West Java regarding companies that do not include 220 workers in the employment social security program.

The Integrated Team of Central and Regional Manpower Supervisors together with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan immediately went to the field, issued a memorandum of inspection, and required the company to register all its workers and pay off inrrears in full.

"For the record, in the last six months the Ministry of Manpower has received 128 complaints related to companies that do not fulfill the obligation to protect workers' social security with a total arrears reaching Rp36.59 billion," he said.

Yassierli stated that the Menaker Report channel is an important instrument in ensuring compliance with employment norms and K3 throughout Indonesia.

"We are serious about following up on every report. We invite workers and the public who are aware of the violation of work norms and K3 to report through the Menaker Report channel," he said.
