The Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections confirmed that the former Director General of Taxes Ken Dwijugiasteadi was prevented from traveling abroad based on a request from the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

"The AGO filed a penalty on behalf of Ken Dwijugiasteadi," said Acting Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman when contacted from Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, November 20.

Apart from Ken Dwijugiasteadi, the AGO also asked four other people to be prevented, namely the initials BNDP, HBP, KL, and VRH. Prevention is valid from November 14, 2025 to May 14, 2026.

The reason for the corruption, was thus quoted from the documents received from the Directorate General of Immigration.

Previously, the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, revealed that the AGO had searched a number of places related to the 201620 tax corruption case.

"It's true, there have been legal actions in the form of searches in several places related to alleged corruption in reducing the obligation to pay taxation of companies/taxpayers in 2016-2020," said Anang in Jakarta, last Monday.

He said this case was related to tax personnel at the Directorate of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.

Regarding the timing and location of the search, Anang did not reveal it. He also has not disclosed the case of this corruption case.

However, Anang said that this case had gone up to the investigation stage. "Yes (up fingerprints)," said Kapuspenkum.
