Billions Of Audi A8L Cars Pikap Takbayar Simatupang Toll Road Rp17 Thousand, Polda Metro Intervene

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya is investigating the action of a luxury car that broke through the Simatupang Toll Gate, the main entrance to the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) toll road in South Jakarta.

"It has been monitored and is being checked," said Head of Highway Patrol (PJR) Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 19.

According to Dhanar, his party has checked the vehicle number. However, he has not been able to convey the details of the identity of the luxury car owner.

"Meanwhile (vehicle number checks) are being carried out," he said.

Previously, the action video was widely circulated on Instagram through the @dashcam_owners_indonesia account. In the recording, it can be seen that a luxury Audi car follows a pickup in front of it which is doing an electronic card (e-toll) at the toll gate.

After the pickup car finished paying, the Audi A8L car immediately grabbed and broke through the bar without making a transaction, then stepped on the gas leaving the location.

"S* class Audi A8L, when you have a turbocharged V6 machine, you don't have money to pay for the Rp17 thousand toll road, you lose to a pickup truck," wrote the account.

Berdasarkan penelusuran ANTARA, pelaku penerobosan palang tol dapat dijerat Pasal 287 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, dengan ancaman pidana kurungan paling lama dua bulan atau denda maksimal Rp500.000.

Based on ANTARA's search, the perpetrators of the toll cross section can be charged with Article 287 paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of two months or a maximum fine of Rp. 500,000.
