The 2025 Hunt Podcast Successfully Born New Winners, Abdel Achrian And Calvin Jeremy Are Inspired To Create Podcasts

JAKARTA The 2025 Podcast Hunt talent search event has peaked by setting the Big Agency Podcast as the main champion.

The final night which was held at HeArt Space, Central Jakarta, Friday, November 14, was not only a stage for the five finalists, but also succeeded in inspiring guest stars Abdel Achrian and Calvin Jeremy to go deeper into the podcast world.

The event, initiated by the Ancur 'Diaz Danar, Patra Gumala, and Randhika Djamil' trio of Podcasts, features five selected finalists: Nine To Five Father, United Nations (Big Agency Podcast), Adult Add Podcast, Tiga Batang Podcast, and Gizmo Radio.

They had the opportunity to be interviewed directly by Abdel Achrian and Calvin Jeremy before the judges. Diaz Danar, one of the initiators, said the enthusiasm of this year's participants was extraordinary, even his quality had increased dramatically compared to the previous year.

"It's really fun, it's really enthusiastic this year that the quality is good until each stage of the selection makes the jury confused," said Diaz Danar in the Central Jakarta area, recently.

Of the hundreds of registrants, the five finalists managed to qualify because they were considered to have a strong and different character.

They have their own characteristics and colors. There is uniqueness in each of them which later could be the selling point of their podcasts in the future,' said Patra Gumala.

Meanwhile, Randhika Djamil expressed his happiness at seeing the podcast industry continue to be celebrated with great fanfare.

"I'm very happy that the podcast industry is still celebrated with great fanfare like this. Hopefully there will continue to be and the podcast industry in Indonesia will grow," said Randhika.

As an audio platform that supports creator growth, Spotify is back as the main partner of the 2025 Podcast Hunt. Carl Zuzarte, Head of Podcast, Spotify Southeast Asia, stated that this event shows how dynamic the podcast world is in Indonesia.

The enthusiasm and creativity seen in the 2025 Hunt Podcast show how dynamic and developing the podcast world in Indonesia is. We are delighted to be back working with the Ancur Podcast to find new voices, "said Carl Zuzarte.

He added that the winners and prominent participants will have a golden opportunity. The winners and prominent participants also had the opportunity to join the Spotify Creator Program, gain access to various tools, as well as monetization opportunities to support their long-term success," Carl added.

Abdel Achrian's presence as a guest star interviewed by finalists gave him a new experience. He admitted that he was impressed with the format of the competition which he thought had clear rules of the game.

"I was involved in the Final Podcast Hunt as a guest star, so I was interviewed by finalists. It's fun, looking at the pieces of the finalists," said Abdel Achrian to the media crew.

"Of the hundreds of participants, five are selected. The five have their own uniqueness. These podcasts can be contested, meaning there are rules for the game."

This experience actually made him want to learn more about the theory behind the making of podcasts.

I can also learn how to compose podcasts in theory and scientifically. If I get the knowledge, I will apply it to my podcasts," he continued.

In line with Abdel, musician Calvin Jeremy also admitted that he was inspired to create his own podcast. His involvement stemmed from Diaz Danar's invitation to be a guest on the Ancur Podcast.

"Starting to be invited by Diaz Danar to come to one of the episodes of the Ancur Podcast. It turned out to be really fun, like meeting old friends," said Calvin.

After feeling the atmosphere of the competition and learning from the finalists, Calvin felt his desire to create a podcast was unstoppable.

"Well! This is interesting. Apart from being invited to enliven the 2025 Podcast Hunt, this is my place to learn. It seems that the desire to make podcasts is no longer unstoppable. Hopefully, coming home from here, 2026 Calvin Jeremy can start the first episode of his podcast," said Calvin.

After going through the assessment of the judges consisting of Angga Nggok (PODKESMAS), Kai Soerja (In Her View), and Arif Brata (Ampat & ABG Siniar), the Big Agency Podcast won first place with a prize of Rp. 20 million.

Meanwhile, the Adult Add Podcast took second place with a prize of IDR 15 million, and the Tiga Batang Podcast as the third winner brought home a prize of IDR 5 million.
