The Cases Of DJ Panda And Erika Carlina Rise To The Investigation Stage, Threatened With Sentences Above 5 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - The case of alleged threats and violations of personal data reported by Erika Carlina against DJ Panda is now entering a new, more serious chapter.

Erika's attorney, Mohammad Faisal, confirmed that the case had gone up from the investigation stage to the investigation stage, meaning the police had found an alleged criminal incident.

"This police report has been made dated July 19, 2025, where the development of the case since September 30 has been raised from an investigation to an investigation," said Mohammad Faisal at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, November 14.

"This means that investigators here have two pieces of evidence that are sufficient to find any suspected criminal events," he continued.

With the increase in the status of this case, DJ Panda is now faced with the threat of punishment that is not kidding. The report includes violations of the ITE Law and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP).

"In the ITE Law, to be precise Article 45A paragraph 2 of Law Number 1 of 2024, it carries a penalty of more than 5 years," explained Faisal.

Even though the Restorative Justice (RJ) process is being pursued, Faisal emphasized that the legal process will continue if peace is not reached.
