Prabowo Has Listened To The DPC-DPC Voice Which Rejects Budi Arie To Join Gerindra

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party as well as the President, Prabowo Subianto, is said to have listened to the voices of the Gerindra Party Branch Leadership Council (DPC) in a number of areas regarding the refusal of the General Chairperson of Projo, Budi Arie Setiadi to join his party members.

This was conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary who is also a Gerindra politician, Prasetyo Hadi in response to the refusal of the Gerindra DPC against Budi Arie. The reason is, Budi Arie is considered to want asylum.

"Yes, we listen. We listen to the voices of DPC friends. Definitely (weighted)," said Prasetyo Hadi at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, November 13.

Prasetyo revealed that President Prabowo had listened to the aspirations of the DPC but the decision had not yet been made. In due course, he said, Prabowo would convey his decision.

"(President Prabowo) Already, already (ask). But it's true that we haven't made a decision and he hasn't officially conveyed it either," he said.

Prasetyo said Prabowo listened carefully to the DPC's voice. However, the input has not been discussed by the Gerindra DPP.

"Yes (respons Prabowo) we listen to it. Not yet, not yet (discussed by the Gerindra DPP)," he said.

Previously, the Gerindra DPC Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra (North Sumatra), rejected the General Chair of Projo Budi Arie, who expressed his desire to join the party chaired by President Prabowo Subianto.

The rejection was based on various considerations, one of which was considered seeking political asylum.

"Budi Arie's plan to join the Gerindra party is perceived by the public as a pragmatic step to keep his chances of remaining at the epicenter of Prabowo's power," said Gerindra Pematangsiantar DPC chairman Gusmiyadi in his statement, Friday, November 7.

Gusmiyadi assessed the joining of Budi Arie as a pragmatic step to protect himself from potential legal entanglement. In addition, Budi Arie is also considered to be joining because he wants to get an important position from Prabowo.

"The pragmatic step is read as a way to take cover from legal cases that have the potential to surround him and on the other hand, Budi Arie also hopes to still get an important position under President Prabowo's leadership," he said.
