Many Defendants Did Not Attend, Bandung Zoo Deed Session Postponed Until November 26

The trial, which was actually held at the Bandung District Court (PN) at 09.00 WIB, started at 14:40 WIB, with the agenda of summoning the parties, namely the plaintiffs (Bisma Bratakoesoema parties) and the defendants (John Sumampau parties).
During the trial, eight plaintiffs were represented by their attorneys, but 15 of the defendants, only Defendant 1 (Tony Sumampau), Defendant 2 (Daris Manansang), and Defendant 6 (John Sumampau) were represented by a legal representative.
Because many defendants were not present, within about 10 minutes of the opening of the trial, the judge finally decided that the trial would be postponed for two weeks and held again on November 26, 2025.
Between this postponement time, the judge asked the plaintiffs to correct the addresses of the defendants so that an invitation letter could be sent. Even if at the next trial the defendants still did not come, the judge decided to immediately carry out the mediation stage.
Met after the trial, YMT's new management attorney, Yopi Gunawan, explained that the postponement was due to several defendants not being present because the court invitation letter did not reach the intended one.
Yopi said the plaintiff, according to the judge's order, had to change the address. And now the address has been changed to unknown.
"In that condition, it must be called again through a public summons. Namely advertising through newspapers. And this trial will start again on November 26, 2025. If it is still not present, mediation will immediately be carried out," said Yopi.
