JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received a visit from former Australian Prime Minister (PM) Paul

The second meeting took place on the sidelines of a series of official visits by President Prabowo in Sydney, Australia, after delivering a joint statement with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

President Prabowo expressed a positive impression on the discussion that took place with Paul

"I think it's very good. He is very experienced. His thoughts are very clear. His experience is very large. So I feel that I get a lot from his thoughts," said President Prabowo when giving a press statement in Sydney, Australia, Wednesday, as reported by Antara.

The meeting took place in a warm and familiar atmosphere, with discussions covering various strategic issues in the fields of international relations, the economy, as well as geoeconomics and regional geopoliticals.

According to the Head of State, Paulference is an experienced figure with a sharp view on global dynamics.

President Prabowo also added that a number of topics were discussed with Paul

"In the field of international relations, in the economic sector, in the fields of geoeconomics, geopoliticals. There are so many," said the President.

The meeting was part of a series of President Prabowo's state visits in Australia.

The Head of State emphasized that Indonesia and Australia have a common interest in strengthening mutually beneficial bilateral relations.

"I think it's very good, yes. We have to know that we are neighbors and Indonesia has an interest in having good relations with Australia. Vice versa, if we work well together in all fields, this will bring enormous benefits to both countries and to all of our regions," said the President.
