Regarding Unsuitable Salaries To Layoffs, Minister Yassierli: Access To The Menaker Report Channel

JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli said that the public can now report inappropriate salaries to termination of employment (PHK) to the government through the 'Menaker Report' channel.

"When there is a sequestration, when there are things that are deemed necessary, we immediately follow up, we hope that the public can take advantage of the Minister of Manpower's Report information channel optimally," Yassierli said at the launch of the 'Menaker Report' which was held at the Office of the Ministry of Manpower, Jakarta, Wednesday, was confiscated by Antara.

The channel can be accessed through the reporting site menaker.kemnaker.go.id.

Yassierli revealed that during the trial period, he received around 600 complaints. Most of the complaints are related to wages, social security, and come from workers.

Reports that become domains of the Ministry of Manpower will be immediately followed up with the labor inspector.

He gave an example, if someone reports about layoffs to the Menaker Report channel, he will follow up by sending a mediator.

If the reporting issue is related to norms, it will lower the labor inspector.

Manpower supervision is a civil servant tasked with supervising and enforcing the implementation of laws and regulations in the employment sector, including providing guidance to companies and workers.

"So the follow-up to the report really depends on the type of report," he said.

The Ministry of Manpower also cooperates with provincial, city, and labor inspectors in the regions to follow up on complaints that go to the Menaker Lapor channel.

"This is our effort to open information barriers from the public, there are those who complain maybe via Instagram, through what, which we are unable to detect, we hope that all channels are integrated into the Menaker Report channel," said Yassierli.
