Honorary Employees Of The DKI Provincial Government Found Dead In The Fountain Of The Horse Statue
JAKARTA - An honorary employee of the DKI Jakarta City Forest Parks Service (Distamhut) was found dead in the control tub of the Horse Statue fountain pump, Jalan Merdeka Barat, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 12. The victim is known to have the initials M (46).
Head of the Central Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-dept. (Sudin Tamhut), Mila Ananda, confirmed that there were officers who died in the horse statue fountain in the Gambir area.
"The information is corporate social responsibility (CSR) for the fountain. I'll make sure first which employee is it, but that's the DKI Jakarta Tamhut Service," he said.
The man's death has been reported to the Gambir Police Headquarters for identification.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gambir Metro Police, Kompol Dimmas Adhit Putranto, said that from the results of his investigation, the victim was known to be an honorary officer for controlling the horse fountain.
"The victim is thought to have died from electrocution," said Kompol Dimmas.

Kompol Dimmas said the victim was dead when he was found. The victim was found supine in a supine position in the control tub of the horse statue water pump.
From the statements of several witnesses, it was known that the victim was checking the water pump control tub. The witness also saw that the cable was connected.
"Then the witness suspected that his co-worker (the victim) was already at the bottom. The witness called the victim but did not respond, then the witness opened the lid like the control saw the victim was dead," he said.
For this incident, the witness then asked for help from the police officers who were around Sapta Pesona Patung Kuda. The victim M's body was then taken to Cipto Mangukusumo Hospital (RSCM).
