Jaklingko Public Transportation Dragged Motorcyclist In Cilangkap, Reportedly Killed
JAKARTA The traffic flow on Jalan Raya Cilangkap, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, had stalled on Wednesday, November 12, early in the morning due to a fatal accident involving motorcyclists and Jaklingko public transportation majoring PGC Cilangkap.
The incident, which occurred at around 07.00 WIB, caused one death toll, a man with the initials RJ, a resident of the Serut Gang, Pondok Ranggon. The victim died on the spot after being run over by an angkot while trying to overtake another vehicle on the solid route to Cipayung.
Quoted from ANTARA, RJ lost control after colliding with another motorcyclist, then fell and was dragged into under the angkot with police number B 1826 WV. The victim's body was dragged about five meters before finally dying at the scene.

The angkot driver, Saptani, admitted that he was not aware of a motorist falling in front of his car.
"I didn't realize that a motorbike was falling in front of me. As soon as I heard the screams of the residents, I immediately stopped," he said at the location.
East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit officers immediately processed the crime scene and evacuated the victim's body to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. As a result of the incident, traffic from Cipayung to Pondok Ranggon had stalled for more than an hour.
The police urge motorists to be more careful when crossing crowded lanes such as Cilangkap, especially during the morning rush hour.
