Required To Be Creative In Teaching, Mendikdasmen Abdul Mu'ti Support Teachers Participating In Education Canva Training
JAKARTA - A teacher must have creativity to increase his teaching activities, especially in today's digital era. To increase this creativity, teachers can now take advantage of the technology that continues to develop.
The Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) said that digital technology has an important role in increasing teacher creativity. One of them is by using the Education Canva, which provides services for thousands of templates and design tools that teachers can use to provide learning materials.
"Canvas have an important meaning in encouraging the creativity of teachers," said the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen), Abdul Mu'ti, in Sudirman, Jakarta, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
"Several examples of how deep learning or deep learning can be more implemented and technology becomes a tool that makes learning more meaningful and more enjoyable," he added.
Kemendikdasmen mencatat terdapat 6,7 juta pengguna telah aktif memanfaatkan fitur kreatif Canva dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran mereka. Ini membantu aktivitas belajar semakin inspiratif dan menyenangkan.
"This is an example of how technology can reach unaffordable and can make learning very inspiring and very useful," continued Abdul Mu'ti.

This success is also inseparable from the massive training carried out, of which 92 thousand teachers in Indonesia participated in Canva utilization training through roadshows and webinars in 10 provinces.
With the training carried out, it provides space and time teachers to better understand the use of the technology. The training contributes significantly to building a teacher's creativity process as well as to teach their students better.
"This shows a real contribution that the creative process is alive and has a direct impact on the context of learning in Indonesia," concluded the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Suharti.
