Russian Troops Move Forward To The South Of Kupiansk City In Ukraine

JAKARTA - Moscow troops have advanced deep into Ukraine's Kupiansk City, moving south to seize a series of train stations, a Russian commander on land said on Tuesday.

The commander, who gave his nickname as "Hunter" and identified himself as the person in charge of Russia's 1486th Motor Rifle Regiment assault detachment, said his troops had seized control of an oil depot on the eastern bank of Kupiansk.

In a video statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, he said his troops had also taken control of a series of train stations along the railway line to Kupiansk Vuzlovyi, a settlement about 6 km (4 miles) south of the Kupiansk center. November 11th.

Russian troops riding motorbikes and various kinds of cars and other vehicles were seen driving along a road filled with debris while soldiers were watching. Several Russian soldiers sat on the roof of a damaged vehicle. A drone was seen on the side of the road.

Separately, Ukrainian Military Commander General Oleksandr Syrskyi in an interview with the New York Post said Russia was concentrating about 150,000 troops in an attempt to seize Pokrovsk, with mechanical groups and marine brigades as part of the effort.

General Syrskyi told the same newspaper that Ukrainian troops are using urban areas built to limit the progress of Russian troops and are facing Russian sabotage units.
