Densus 88 Calls The Bomb That Exploded At SMAN 72 Jakarta Self-rakit By The Perpetrators

The National Police's Anti-terror Special Detachment (Densus) 88 revealed that the bomb that exploded at SMAN 72 North Jakarta was assembled by the alleged perpetrator.

Spokesperson for Densus 88, AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana explained, the perpetrators were able to assemble bombs by accessing the internet.

Regarding the shape and type of bomb used, Mayndra said that some of them could indeed be controlled remotely. However, for technical details, he has not explained further.

"Some are yes, but related to the technicality, which is willing to confirm with Gegana or to the Public Relations Bid of the Polda Metro Jaya," he added.

Previously, an explosion incident occurred within SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Friday, November 7, 2025 at noon.

The explosion resulted in dozens of victims being injured. They were immediately rushed to the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Yarsi Hospital.
