Respecting Heroes' Services, Thousand Islands Police Sow Flowers In Waters

JAKARTA - Thousand Islands Police Chief AKBP Argadija Putra led a flower sowing ceremony in the waters of the Thousand Islands, Jakarta on Monday, November 10, 2025.

This activity was held as a form of respect for the heroes who have died fighting for Indonesia's independence.

"This moment is not just ceremonial, but a form of gratitude and respect for the heroes who have given everything to this country," said AKBP Argadija Putra, Monday, November 10, 2025.

The flower sowing ceremony uses the Thousand Islands Police Satpolairud patrol boat. The flower sowing point is in the middle of the water.

"This sea is a witness that their spirit is still alive in our hearts," he said.

In addition to sowing flowers, the Thousand Islands Police also held a moment of silence while lowering their heads.

AKBP Argadija said the simple ceremony closed a series of commemorations of Heroes' Day 2025 held by the Thousand Islands Police.

"The value of heroism must continue to be revived through real work, sincere service, and service to the people on land and at sea," he said.
