Densus 88 Reveals, There Are 7 Explosives That The Perpetrators Brought To SMAN 72 Jakarta
The National Police's Anti-terror Special Detachment (Densus) 88 said seven explosives were brought by the alleged perpetrator at SMA 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta on Friday, November 7, 2025, then.
This was found by the joint apparatus when conducting a crime scene (TKP) after the explosion incident occurred.
"It is true (there were seven explosives)" said Densus 88 spokesman AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana when contacted, Monday, November 10.
Mayndra said that of the seven explosives that were brought, four of them exploded in two locations. Meanwhile, three of the three explosives that did not explode had been confiscated by the police for further investigation.
"The four exploded in two locations. Three did not explode," he said.
However, Mayndra has not detailed the type of explosive that injured 96 people.

It is known that the explosion incident occurred in the SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Friday 7 November 2025 afternoon.
The explosion resulted in dozens of people being injured. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and some were taken to the school health unit.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo revealed that the alleged perpetrator of the explosion at SMA 72 Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, had been arrested. The perpetrator is known to be a student at the school.
