Korea Masters 2025: Ni Kadek Dhina's Journey Stops In The Semifinals

JAKARTA The journey of the women's singles badminton player Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi in the BWF Super 300 Korea Masters 2025 badminton event had to stop in the semifinals.

The badminton player from Bali returned from the tournament after he lost to Chiu Pin Chian's seed with a final score of 21-19, 19-21, 8-21 at Wonkwang University Cultural and Sports Center on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Clashes have been tight since the start of the first game. Ni Kadek won 11-9 in the opening game interval, but Chiu was able to equalize to 12-12 and then took the lead.

Ni Kadek then turned aggressive with a quick counter-attack and a sharp cross-shot. This appearance made it difficult for his opponent to develop the game.

After winning in the first game, Ni Kadek got into an exciting fight in the second game. They chased each other's points and then Chiu managed to take a narrow lead 11-9 at the interval.

After the second game interval, Ni Kadek fell behind 11-14. However, he managed to get up and equalize the score a few more before Chiu equalized the score.

After missing the second game, Ni Kadek appeared far from satisfactory in the last game. He was 5-3 ahead, but lost six points in a row after that made him buried.

Ni Kadek's defeat made Indonesia's hope of getting a title in the tournament only for Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, who will only play the semifinals after this.
